Good lenses should solve a real visual need, not create a complicated shopping decision. At Vueraith we start with how you use your glasses and then make a considered lens recommendation for your chosen frame and prescription.
1. What do you need to see?
Single vision: one prescription for distance, reading or a particular working distance. Bifocal: distinct distance and near zones; supplier options include flat-top, round-top and blended designs. Progressive (varifocal): distance, intermediate and reading in one lens; the best design depends on measurements and how you use your glasses.
2. Choose the right thickness, not automatically the highest index
Available supplier materials include 1.50, 1.56, 1.59 polycarbonate, 1.61, 1.61 MR-8, 1.67 and 1.74. Higher-index lenses may be thinner for certain prescriptions, but the right choice also depends on frame shape, diameter, material, prescription, fitting and optical performance. Not every index or combination suits every customer.
3. Decide how your lenses respond to light
We can consider clear anti-reflective lenses, tinted or polarised prescription sun lenses, photochromic options and selected branded Transitions Signature GEN S and Transitions XTRActive lenses. Transitions colours and functions vary by material and lens type. Options are checked for the individual prescription and frame before manufacture.
4. We check the optical details
Our review includes the written prescription, frame compatibility, pupil distance and fitting measurements, and any necessary design-specific details. More complex prescriptions, prism and multifocals may require further measurements or specialist advice.
Clear prices and dependable aftercare
The frame listing shows its current selling price. Prescription-lens upgrades and any complete-pair offers must be shown and confirmed in the applicable ordering flow before payment. Not all listed supplier treatments are included in a basic lens package. Vueraith's 12-month manufacturing-defect warranty is additional to your statutory rights.
